My friend Tita and I were given tickets to see Diana Krall at Rochford Wines yesterday. So we dressed up VERY warm, hid under a groundsheet and stayed relatively warm and dry!
Diana Krall came out to perform in chilly weather with a four piece band and played her heart out – I was amazed that she could still play the piano with cold hands.

Actually, it’s less like a new job and more like a new vocation.
I was sadly made redundant from a role I love at Focus on the Family Australia – that was a toughie to work my way through.
Gladly, though I very quickly found work with a company called Instal-life, which instals Christian Satellite TV into private homes. Wayne Knapman, who heads up Instal-life also is the Australian representative for GodTV. These two Christian ministries support each other very well.
This role came to light in my normal dealings with Wayne, as Focus on the Family Aus and Instal-life had a marketing partnership. I had contacted Wayne to let him know that I was leaving Focus and told him who he should contact in my abscence and to cut a not so long story short – I met with him and his wife, Anne-Katrine, and I guess you could say “the rest is history”!
My initial role is to help write the Instal-Life procedures manual and when that is done, it’s likely that I’ll be working with Wayne in a personal assistant role. I’ll also get involved with helping the sales team call the back log of leads to get Christian TV in as many homes as we can across Australia and New Zealand.
Last Friday we had some fun at the office – Missions Week is starting mid-March on GodTV and apparently the Australian office will be featured as part of the global outreach (oh, I forgot to mention that GodTV is based in the UK). Anyway, so that the world can see who we are, a cameraman came by the office and filmed us all ‘at work’ – it was heaps of fun and interesting to see how videos etc are put together!
I guess we will only see the final product when it’s being shown on GodTV next month – and it will be shown all around the world! Eeeek!

Hi, Kim Holmberg here and welcome to my personal blog. I guess this is blog is going to be my favourite because it’s all about me! It’s a fun site – place for people to come to find out about… well, yes – me!
I have a couple of other sites (check the blogroll) that are more business orientated and with those I have to be careful that I stay focussed on the topics!
The first challenge I had with this site was to choose a theme! As it didn’t need to portray a professional image I thought I’d pick something a little business-like. You you know how many themes there are to navigate? Hundreds! It wouldn’t surprise me if the theme to this site changed on a regular basis! Anyway, as you can see (if it’s still installed), I’ve chosen a pretty bright look to start off with!
There’s not much to look at for the time being, but I encourage you to come back and read what I’ve been blogging about – that’s, of course, if you are at all interested in my favourite subject – me!
